Disc golf can be played with any old flying disc (Frisbees). However, many companies have created disc golf specific disc which make the game easier and more enjoyable.

When starting out in disc golf, a person only really needs one or two discs (a multipurpose, or a driver and a putter). It is recommended to try some discs out before buying. Play a round with a friend that has an extra set to see how it feels.
